ALL lanes of the M5 have been reopened following an accident near Clevedon this morning (Fri).
At just before 8.30am a car towing a trailer overturned on the northbound carriageway just after junction 20.
The trailer was carrying cement, which ended up being spread across all three lanes, and while efforts were made to clear this from the road all three lanes were closed.
Now, all lanes have been reopened but there is still congestion leading from the crash site.
Members of the fire service and ambulance service were called to the scene along with the police.
The driver of the car sustained head injuries, which are not thought to have been serious, but he was taken to Frenchay Hospital by ambulance as a precaution.

Not much work done this morning at Castlewood today then as plenty of the Weston workers would have been caught in this!
