The Claverham Future group is preparing the village's neighbourhood plan.

A community group in a North Somerset village has been praised for the way it has constructed a document which will help shape future house-building in the area.

The Claverham Future group’s neighbourhood plan was recently verified by planning inspector Barbara Maksymiw, who said it was legally sound and praised the group for its efforts.

The plan will now receive final approval from Yatton Parish Council, before going back to North Somerset Council for futher inspection.
