Organisers of Banwell Charity Festival have set up a two-week long calendar of events in the village until July 24.

It will kick-off with a Somerset Brass Band Concert at St Andrews Church in West Street at 7.30pm tomorrow.

Following on, there will be a village walk at 2.30pm on Sunday, an auction night at the village hall in Westfield Road at 7.30pm on July 15 and a duck race from the Brewers Arms in Church Street at 2.30pm on July 24.

The events, organised to replace last year’s carnival, will raise money for village charities.
