Village turns out for May Day fair

A TRADITIONAL May Day fair was held on Monday with games, stalls and activities all on offer providing entertainment for villagers young and old.
May Queen Elenor Cush, Annabelle and Anya Everest.The celebrations at Claverham Village Hall also crowned this year’s May Queen during a rare break in the traditional bank holiday rain.
It proved a popular event among children and adults with a coconut shy, a name the snake game and a village parade among the activities.
