The procession was led by the Weston Sea Cadets marching band and this year’s theme was ‘celebrations’.

The May Queen was driven around the village in a classic Jaguar with her attendants, before being crowed at a ceremony during the fair.

Children from Hutton Primary School danced around a maypole, brownies served refreshments and cakes and scouts cooked up treats on the barbecue.

Prizes were presented to best entries in different classes –
Mark and Lynn Perry won the award for best-dressed couple while Harry Dutton and Greta Cooper also won prizes for their outfits.
