Villages unite against traffic

Community groups across North Somerset are joining forces in the hope of reducing traffic problems in their areas.
Congresbury’s neighbourhood plan has already teamed up with the Yatton and Claverham planning groups to jointly fund a traffic consultant, who will carry out studies to see how traffic affects the three villages. However, Congresbury also feels congestion on Stock Lane and Brinsea Road, which links the village with Churchill and Langford, will get worse once the South Bristol Link Road is completed later this year.
The group has now reached out to Churchill and Langford Parish Council to see whether it is also interested in using the traffic consultant to investigate the issues. The results will then be fed back to Congresbury Parish Council.
