Des Henly and Mario Ferrari, formerly from R&B band The Iveys, will see two tracks from their 1964 EP Four Songs Four Iveys re-released by Acidjazz Records as part of a compilation of rare tracks called Rare Mod Volume 3.

Guitarist and singer Des said: “To say we were surprised was an understatement.

“We were just 17 at the time, we couldn’t afford Abbey Road so our mums paid for us to record the tracks on an old four-track recording machine in a cellar in Bristol.”

The album is available from www.acidjazz.co.uk, online, or from selected outlets.
