POLICE are looking for a man and woman who stole meat and groceries from a Weston shop by stuffing the goods into a suitcase.

On May 4 at The Co-Operative in Whitecross Road a man and a woman stole large amounts of meat and other food items worth more than £100.

The woman was pulling along a suitcase, and both the man and woman were seen to fill the suitcase up with items of food.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: “The woman is in her 20s, of medium build with long brown hair. She was wearing black leggings and a grey hoody with a pink top showing underneath.

“The man is in his 20s, of slim build, with short dark receding hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a black jumper with a grey body-warmer.

“The suitcase being pulled along was blue and had a pink spotted design. The suitcase had wheels and was used to conceal the stolen items.”
