Fire crews put out late-night car blaze in Weston-super-Mare

A car fire was tackled by crews in Weston-super-Mare late last night (Sunday).

Firefighters were called to an incident in Downside Road at around 11.41pm when a Peugeot 405 was alight.

A high pressure hose reel was used to extinguish the blaze, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
