WESTON couple Emma and Matthew tied the knot last month, surrounded by family and friends.

Emma Perks, the eldest daughter of Michael and Christine Perks, married Matthew Speller, the only son of Mark and Elizabeth Speller.

The happy couple married on June 9 at St Martin’s church, in Church Road, Worle and celebrated the ceremony at a reception in Court Farm, Banwell.

Emma, who works as an administrator, and Matthew, a HGV driver, were surrounded by 140 guests and enjoyed a party in the evening where more than 200 people danced to the music of local band Lipinski.

The newly-weds spent their honeymoon overseas, and took a trip to the Red Sea in Egypt.
