One of Weston-super-Mare’s biggest charities was given a boost this week after it received a donation of more than £4,000.

The money was raised for Weston Hospicecare at the Weston Model Train Show, which took place at The Campus in Locking Castle last month.

Show organiser Keith Price, pictured with hospice staff, presented the charity’s representatives with the cheque and told the Mercury this year’s event was a ‘tremendous’ occasion, before thanking guests for their support.
