Weston Museum will host a history week event in February.

The museum, in Burlington Street, organised two Viking re-enactments over the past two years while it was closed for its refurbishment.

But this year, its History Week event will return to the revamped building, where visitors can meet re-enactors in the courtyard.

People will be able to visit free events about the Romans on February 12, the medieval era on February 14 and the two world wars on February 16.

On February 13 and 15, there will be immersive history sessions with food, story-telling and games, which must be booked in advance.

Tickets cost £5 per child or £8 for two children and can be booked by calling 01934 621028.

The museum is closed while temporary exhibitions are installed.

It will reopen at 10am on January 27, and entry is free every day.
