There is just over a week to go until Weston Museum opens it doors again following a two-year refurbishment – and you can have a sneaky first peak by watching our video.
The museum, in Burlington Street, has received a £1.6million transformation, providing a boost to Weston’s cultural sector.
The building will re-open on August 26, and entry will be free.
The work includes the installation of a new lift, so the whole museum is now accessible to everyone.

The exhibition spaces have also been transformed, and will feature art hidden away in storerooms for decades.
Weston Town Council, which runs the museum, has led the project with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
John Crockford-Hawley, chairman of the museum and heritage committee on the town council, said: “We now have a real ‘wow’ factor museum and art gallery of regional significance.”
