Weston-super-Mare Sea Cadets took home plenty of top prizes in the Avon district drill and piping competitions.

With their training complete and uniforms pressed, the cadets performed their displays with great confidence.

A clean sweep of victories saw Weston’s youngsters win best guard, best guard commander and best colour party, with the piping team and individual piper also coming first.

The Royal Marines’ cadets came runners-up in their competition against Bristol Adventure and Lance Corporal Harry Lewis was awarded the runner up best troop commander.
