Children put Arctic art on display at Weston theatre

Children are holding their first art exhibition at a Weston-super-Mare theatre.

The EngageART group of children aged six to 11 have created an exhibition called Arctic Wonders.

They used materials to create artistic versions of the Northern Lights and Arctic wildlife.

The work is on display at the Blakehay Theatre.

Jean Ratcliffe said: “At EngageART we aim to involve and inspire the community in creativity.”

Children went along to the theatre on Saturday where they took part in drawing challenges, colouring and made crafts based on the Arctic theme.
