A Weston business has committed to supporting children with additional needs and disabilities.

Praxair Surface Technologies has committed to supporting education during its Community Engagement Week.

Part of the business’ core mission is to commit to improving the areas where they live and work.

Volunteers from the Weston team spent two days at Springboard in Clevedon working on maintenance tasks.

Weston plant manager Lee Cross said: “We were able to refresh areas of the Clevedon site and also replaced the entrance gate, which was donated by Praxair.

“Our time was truly rewarding, engaging with the Springboard team who themselves provide outstanding support to the community.

Springboard Opportunity Group offered support to North Somerset children aged up to five years old and their families.
