Grand Pier sponsors Midnight Beach Walk

The Grand Pier is supporting Weston Hospicecare’s Midnight Beach Walk again this year.

The walk, which was sponsored by the pier last year, is being held on September 30 to enable women to raise money for the charity while remembering a loved one.

Pier co-owner Michelle Michael said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Midnight Beach Walk once again this year. It’s one of the highlights of the year in Weston, bringing together hundreds of women wanting to celebrate the life of a loved one. It’s wonderful to see crowds of colourful people strolling along the beach by moonlight.

“Weston Hospicecare is close to the hearts of many North Somerset families and this event raises vital funds for the charity.”

The walk will start and end next to the pier.
