Vintage American cars and trucks will be on display at a Locking museum this weekend.

The Helicopter Museum, in Locking Moor Road is hosting its second Cadillacs and ‘Copters event on Sunday.

Last year’s event attracted more than 70 vehicles, and this one will take place by the restored airfield control tower.

Organiser Andy Green believes it will be a great day and said: “We have a very exciting line up of classic American cars booked in to display, including Mustangs, Studebakers, Chevrolets, Corvettes and of course, the ever popular Cadillacs.

“Many of the vehicles exhibiting are the only examples on this side of the Atlantic.”

The museum will also open up several of its American helicopters for a close-up viewing.

Usual museum admission prices apply, but there are no extra charges for the event.

The event will run from 10am-2pm on Sunday, but the museum is open until 5.30pm.
