Roads and pavements in Weston-super-Mare may turn icy early on Friday morning, the Met Office is warning.

It is forecasting a spell of rain, before temperatures quickly plummet overnight.

Untreated pavements, cycle paths and roads could become slippery.

Some railway tracks may also be affected, and journeys by both road and rail could take longer than usual.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, which will remain in place from 4-10am.
