Doors open at 1.45pm and the dance starts at 2pm.

Tickets, priced £7.50, are available from www.westonwintergardens.co.uk or on 01934 411100.

n Weston’s Helicopter Museum, in Locking Moor Road, is holding a World Helicopter Day event on Sunday.

The museum holds a collection of more than 100 helicopters on display and is offering visitors the chance to take a seat in five of its fleet’s cockpits.

Models including the Mil Mi-24 Hind gunship and utility military models the Lynx and Westland 300 will be there on the day and the museum is also offering people a gazelle helicopter simulation experience.

The event starts at 10am and tickets, priced £7.50, are available from the venue.

n The Continental Street Market is taking place in Pier Square until Sunday.

It’s the first year Continental Street Market has visited the town, and with it comes a mixture of stalls selling food and craft trinkets.
