Dinner Date producers are looking for people in Weston-super-Mare to take part.

Single men and women in Weston-super-Mare are being invited to apply to take part in ITV’s Dinner Date show.

Producers are making a new series, and will be filming an episode in the town this summer.

The show aims to put love on the menu, by giving a single man or woman five three-course menus to choose from.

Each menu will have been crafted by a potential date who is eager to make an impression.

The guest will pick three dinner dates, and then meet the people behind the menus to tuck into their food.

At the end of the dates, the guest will choose which of their hosts they want to take out for a romantic meal.

A spokesman from Hat Trick Productions, which makes Dinner Date, said: “You don’t need to be an amazing chef to take part, you just need to be single and up for a blind date.”

Anyone interested in taking part should apply by emailing with your name, age, location and a contact number.
