Runners will brave the elements in a bid to put their best foot forward for the annual Two Bays Tough 10 race.

People of all ages will hit Weston’s beach on Sunday to complete a gruelling 10-mile course which covers Weston Bay and Sand Bay in Kewstoke.

The course will also cover sections of the town’s promenade, Worlebury Woods and a National Trust headland.

There will also be the Friendly Five, which was introduced last year to offer runners a less taxing route, and the one-mile fun run for people aged five and over.

All races will be held on Sunday underneath the Grand Pier, in Marine Parade.

The Tough Ten and Friendly Five will start at 11am and the fun run will begin at 10.15am with entries accepted on the day.

Fun run prices start from £3.50 with entries accepted up until 9.45am at Weston College’s Knightstone Campus.
