A celebration of the best North Somerset has to offer will take place in Weston-super-Mare this weekend.

Your North Somerset will feature family activities, entertainment and information.

It has been organised by Voluntary Action North Somerset (VANS), and will take place at the Tropicana in Marine Parade on Sunday.

Music and dance performances will take place on the stage, and North Somerset organisations will share information about their services.

VANS operations manager Lorna Muffett said: “I don’t want to ruin any of the surprises we’ve got planned but there will be plenty of activities to try, some things for children to make and take home, delicious food to taste, some unusual vehicles to explore, quizzes and games.”

Your North Somerset will be held from 11am-5pm.

It has been supported by North Somerset Council and the Big Lottery Celebrate Fund.
