Children and adults alike created Christingles as part of the Christmas celebrations in Wick St Lawrence.

Christingles are usually made from a decorated orange and a candle, and the celebratory event took place at Wick St Lawrence Church, in Wick Road.

The Christingle celebration was held after the village’s angel festival, which was also organised by the church.

The festival featured angels created by artists and children, craft sessions and live music.

A Crib service, where people can go along dressed as a king, shepherd or angel, will take place at the church on Christmas Eve at 4pm.
