But do not fret, the Mercury has a prize worth more than £1,000 which will help you achieve your new year’s resolutions.

A multi-million-pound redevelopment of the leisure centre was completed in September.

The revamp saw Hutton Moor kitted out with a state-of-the-art 155-station gym, including the latest Precor 865 cardio equipment with on demand TV screens.

The leisure centre is also home to three top-quality new 3G sports pitches and two new fitness studios.
