INFLATABLE obstacle courses, soapy slides and more challenges are set to entertain at the It’s A Knockout challenge at this year’s Weston Community Festival.
One of last summer’s biggest success stories is returning on August 7-9 – and you could win the chance to take part in It’s A Knockout for free.
The festival will have lots to enjoy including a bar, a food tent, live music, entertainment, face-painting and more.
But one of the main attractions is the It’s A Knockout competition and teams of 10 people from community groups and businesses, or just groups of friends looking for a challenge, will be fighting to be crowned the winners on August 8.
A huge inflatable obstacle course filled with surprises for the teams will be sure to entertain the crowd.
The festival will be on the Beach Lawns from 6-10pm on August 7, 10.30am-11pm on August 8 and 11am-6pm on August 9.
The event’s chosen charity for the year is Help For Heroes.
Admission to the community festival is free for spectators but It’s A Knockout entry costs £20 per person for teams of 10. To enter, contact organiser Rafika Aissaoui on 07759 932738 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
There will also be music from Abba Revival on August 7 at 8.45pm and Fake That will be performing at 10pm on August 8. Tickets for both shows, priced £4-6, are available online at www.w-e-c.co.uk
