Hutton Moor Leisure Centre will open its facilities to the public on Sunday, and to celebrate the Mercury has a prize worth £1,068 up for grabs.

Hutton Moor will host a family open day from 10am-4pm, offering free trials of its swimming pool and other facilities – plus a range of fitness tips.

Hutton Moor Members enjoy access to a wider range of facilities than ever before after a £2.15million refurbishment was completed.

The gym boasts 155 stations, plus there are a number of top-class studios for classes like spinning.

Two swimming pools and a luxurious health suite featuring a sauna, steam room and spa are also available members.

General manager Dave Somers said: “Our aim is to encourage everyone to become more active by offering a wide variety of fitness facilities for the whole community to enjoy.

“Our recent multi-million-pound fitness development has enabled us to meet new fitness trends by offering a wide variety of top-class specialist equipment to keep everyone active and motivated.

“We are very excited to team up with the Mercury and offer a lucky family the chance to join us at Hutton Moor.”

The Mercury has teamed up with Legacy Leisure to offer one lucky reader a 12-month family pass for Hutton Moor Leisure Centre.
