Police launch appeal after death of woman in Yatton

A woman has died after being hit by a car in Yatton.

The woman was a pedestrian in High Street at around 5.10pm on December 14 when she was hit by a car.

She was rushed to Southmead Hospital with a serious leg injury but later died during the early hours of December 21.

Police are now appealing for information regarding the incident.

An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesman said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have information to help our enquiries.

“Anyone able to help is asked to call the collision investigation unit on 101, quoting 5217291236.
