Keen adventurers have learnt new survival skills during a free course in Cleeve.

Goblin Combe Environment Centre is running a free woodland adventure course for people over 50 in North Somerset.

The lucky participants have picked up new skills in fire lighting, woodland cooking, orienteering and team challenges.

The group has also enjoyed walks around the beautiful Somerset countryside and archery workshops in the woods.

Goblin Combe Environment Centre was able to put on the seven-week woodland adventure courses after receiving funding.

Programme engagement tutor, Alice Tucker, said: “The activities include walking, fire lighting, team challenges, archery, woodland cooking and orienteering.”
