The Worle Lions Club will hold its popular fun day afternoon during the bank holiday weekend.
Baytree Recreation Ground, in Milton Road, Weston, will host a bouncy castle, games and inflatables.
There will also be a car boot area, and there will be competitions for families to take part in.
There were concerns the event would be cancelled after travellers parked their caravans at the ground, but the group moved on Sunday night.
Fun day organiser Margaret Simpson said: “It takes a lot of work to organise the event so we are all relieved it can now go ahead.
“Members of the Lions are hoping to help the council and football clubs with the clean up.”
The fun day will be held at Baytree Recreation Ground on Monday from noon to 4pm.
