Youngsters will have the chance to take part in a range of fun-filled half-term activities at a North Somerset garden centre.

Wyevale Cadbury Garden Centre, in Congresbury’s Smallway, will be hosting a selection of crafting and gardening activities from May 28 to June 1.

Flower pinwheels, bird kites and homes for garden gnomes are just some of the things children will learn to make.

A spokesman for the garden centre, said: “The events will give kids aged three to eight the opportunity to create their own garden features, plant their own mini allotment, and even build a home for their garden gnome.

“Each session is £2.50 and will run for 20 minutes, bringing to life the joys of gardening and wildlife for little ones.

“If all of this doesn’t sound like enough fun for the half-term holidays, all events include a free activity sheet to take home or complete in centre.”
