Yacht club’s hog roast for visitors

A YACHT club threw open its doors for visitors on Saturday to encourage people in Weston to join.
Weston Bay Yacht Club, based in Uphill Beach near the River Axe, held a hog roast and bar, with visitors invited to view its boats.
President Pat Jensen said: “The day was very successful and raised the profile of our club quite a bit.
“We had a lot of people fill in application forms, and the mayor and mayoress came along.”
