THOUSANDS of talented young performers are taking to the stages over the next couple of weeks for an annual Weston event.

The 64th Weston Junior Arts Festival began on Monday with young musicians showcasing their skills at the Winter Gardens.

The Weston Junior Arts Dance Festival will be taking place at The Playhouse on May 30 and runs until June 5.
