Youth group celebrates birthday with boat cruise

A NORTH Somerset activity group for visually impaired youngsters celebrated its first birthday with a boat cruise.

EnergEyes, which is part of the charity Vision North Somerset, visited Bristol and took a trip on the Bristol Packet boat.

Club leader Aileen Milsom and a team of volunteers has given this group of blind and partially sighted people the opportunity to experience a huge variety of activities including a weekly trip to the gym, golf, off road driving, a monthly ramble with a pub lunch, as well as regular quizzes.
