Winscombe Bowls Club moved into the final of the over-55s Weston & District Triples League and Cup with a 15-shot victory over Ashcombe Knights recently.
All rinks were closely fought however a 21-6 victory on the rink skipped by Tony Watts helped secure a 103-88 shot victory in the semi-finals.
Winscombe will play Victoria Saxons at Victoria BC on Wednesday September 13 at 2.30pm for the silverware.
Winscombe have been a great record in the Cup but the last time they won the trophy was in 2018
On route to this year's final, they had beaten Portishead in the first round by five shots. Their narrowest victory then Portishead RBL by 25 shots, Wedmore by 30 shots and then Ashcombe Knights in the last four.
