A couple of sisters from Weston Tennis Club have had a summer to remember.
Rebeka Kenna, 9, won the under-9s County Championship at Redland recently, with elder sister, Febe, finishing runner-up in the under-12s singles and doubles events. Febe also had success in Torbay where she won the Grade Three under-12s event.
Febe has also won a sports scholarship into Clifton College and will start in year seven this month. Both girls carry out their development at Weston Tennis Club and in Bristol.
In August Febe qualified for the main draw of the British Nationals and reached the last 16 of the Under 12s event, an excellent achievement.
Jamie Allen, the Head Coach of Weston Tennis Club based in Neva Road, holds several junior sessions each week all throughout the year.
