Hornets second string earned bragging rights with a 55-10 win against Weston-super-Mare RFC in the Derby in Counties 2 Tribute Somerset at the Nest last Saturday.
As a warm-up to the Firsts 54-22 win against Dudley Kingswinford, the Seasiders travelled to Nest bottom of the league and looking for their first win of the season.
Hornets welcomed the opportunity to get over their local rivals, and in a superb display put in a well-earned bonus point performance and completely dominate the game in all areas and run in nine tries to one.
The victory moves Hornets up one place to third.
Hornets Thirds sadly could not make it three wins from three after their 13-10 defeat at North Petherton Seconds in the Counties 3 Tribute Somerset South.
The Thirds travelled down the M5 in great spirits but were left undone after a very tight match and fell to their first defeat of the season but maintain first place.
