Clarence's Blues are flying high again this week after a 153-57 victory against the Templars in the Over 55`s League.

The most competitive match came from Jon Loveridge and Phil Lewis alongside skip Allan Cord.

The Blues’ men dropped four of the first five ends but by the 13th end it all was square, and with Cord’s men now getting the line and length right they pushed on to take the match by seven shots.

Also this week, the Clarence squad had a good 59-45 win in their season opener of the Somerset County League away to Ashcombe ‘B’.

Rink of the Day goes to Mike Fry, Dave Clifford and Ken Marshall skipped by Mick Edlin.

The two teams couldn’t be separated after 12 ends at 10 apiece, but Edlin’s Men took six off ends 13 and 14 to win the match whilst Ashcombe clawed a couple back.
