An end of season triples tournament was hosted by Kewstoke Short Mat Bowling Club.

Kewstoke Short Mat Bowling Club hosted the Woodspring League end of season triples tournament, with 10 teams competing in two groups of five.

None of the teams won all their games, but in group A Banwell tied with Mark Village on points, both teams having won two games and one drawn game.

However, Banwell had a shot difference of +11 so went on to play in the final against the winners from group B.

This was the other team from Mark Village and they had the best score of the day winning three of their four games and drawing one giving them 10 points and +16 shots.

The final score was Mark Village B 11 shots to Banwell A’s seven.

It was an enjoyable day with nearly all the players enjoying a good lunch and plenty of tea and coffee was served during the day.
