Sea angler Jack Reynolds came up with the catch of the day while wreck fishing out of Weymouth.

Match sea angler Jack Reynolds of Worlebury tried his luck at wreck fishing out of Weymouth and did not disappoint.

Sailing on board Fish On 2, skippered by Josh Simmonds, he came up with the best catch of the day.

The 11-year-old using a Shimano Ax Braid 20-30lbs rod and Penn 555 Multiplier reel caught a pollack weighing in at 9lb 5oz. The fish was caught using a Sidewinder Skerries Eel 6 25-gram lure.

April has been an excellent month for Jack who has been unbeatable in all of the events that he has entered.

He is a Year 7 pupil at Worle Community School and a member of Bristol Channel Fishing – Supporting Angling Communities, where he takes part in match fishing for Channel Anglers.

Jack is sponsored by both Veals Fishing Tackle, Bristol and Baytree Road Garage.
