Showjumper Charley Hardcastle has qualified for the Longines Royal International Horse Show next year at Hickstead.

Charley Hardcastle and her horse Poppy have qualified for the Longines Royal International Horse Show next year at the Hickstead showground.

This is one of the biggest horse shows in the country with the patron (the Queen) celebrating its 110th birthday as one of the oldest shows in the UK.

Charley said: “This has always been a complete dream to compete here – I am truly overwhelmed. It has taken years to reach this level and coming from a non-professional home and working in an office five days a week, juggling work and training has been very hard.

“However, with support from my trainer, family, friends and recently a new sponsor, finally my dreams are becoming a reality.”
