Weston Under-15 Wizards defeated Old Bristolians to complete a North Somerset Youth League and Plate double.

Having already secured the plate win earlier in the season, Weston Under-15 Wizards visited Old Bristolians in the final league game and came away with a eight-wicket win.

Weston were asked to bowl first and restricted the hosts to 103-8, two wickets for Lauren Filer and two run outs for Jakob Massey the highlights, with Hannah Capes keeping well.

In reply, a knock of 60 for Jack Press with Eoin Austin 26 not out saw the Wizards reach the total in the 18th over.

Coaches James Press, Paul Fleming and Dom Mayo thanked the squad for their great effort this season, with real development of ability seeing much of the team playing regular adult, district and county age group cricket.
