Weston Football Club has teamed up with Championship side Bristol City to offer Robins fans a chance to see the Seagulls in action as they look to secure their second successive home win.

Chippenham Town are the visitors to The Woodspring Stadium on Saturday, less than 24 hours after Bristol City play host to Aston Villa on Friday night at 7.45pm.

If you buy a match day programme at Ashton Gate, there will be a voucher for 50 per cent off the National League South match’s ticket.

This means you can watch the Seagulls for just £6 and a family ticket will only set you back £10.

Oli Bliss, who is the club’s managing director, said: “We have a great professional relationship with Bristol City, and we are hoping that this offer will encourage the local City and Villa fans to take us up on our offer and see what Weston AFC are all about.”

After a tough start to the season under new manager Marc McGregor, the Seagulls now have some positive results under their belt, having secured their first win at home to Gloucester City before sealing an excellent point away at Bognor Regis Town at the weekend.

Weston do find themselves in the relegation zone, but just one point from safety.

If a bumper crowd can witness three points, they will leapfrog their opponents at this early stage of the season.
