Hutton Hurricanes Under-8s produced a great morning of football against Milton Nomads.

The Hurricanes were on fine form with William in goal pulling off a string of fine saves, Charlie and Nikdoem in defence were solid and made some great tackles during the game, while Cody and Stan in midfield were superb with their non-stop workrate and clever passing up to striker Max.

Player of the week was Charlie.

The Under-8 Rockets saw Charlie E in goal who had a good first-half before coming out in the second to play in midfield, scoring two great goals.

Toby in defence was solid and made some great tackles and some brilliant forward runs. Next to him was Michael who impressed again with his attitude and commitment.

McKinley in midfield had another good game full of energy with Bella alongside him working hard. Will as striker worked hard and gave his all, making some great runs.

Player of the week was McKinley.

Weston Crusaders Under-16s were away to Nailsea United in their latest league match in what was a scrappy affair.

The first-half was goalless with James Mike and Aidan going close. The second half saw the game open up with both teams creating decent chances.

Some good work from Aidan saw Mike force his way through to calmly slot the ball home. Nailsea had a good chance to equalise before Archie and Aidan also had chances to make the game safe.

The defence with Harry in goal and Snedds, Tom, Blondie and Joel held firm with some dogged defending, ably supported by Reece, Charlie and Jake in midfield to see Crusaders home to make it 10 wins out of 10 in their league campaign so far.

Man of the match sponsored by Wayne Coombes Decorating went to the whole team for digging in.
