Weston-super-Mare finally got back to winning ways last night (Tuesday) as Dayle Grubb and Jake Reid doubles – and a late Jake Lee goal sealed an impressive three points against Wealdstone.

The Seagulls are now in 17th place in the National League South and in the process of last night’s 5-1 win plunged their opponents in to the relegation zone.

After saying his players’ performance was ‘unacceptable’ on Saturday, when they were beaten 4-1 by promotion-chasing Havant and Waterlooville, Weston manager Marc McGregor heaped praise on his side.
