Former Bristol City youth team player Naby Diallo has agreed a return to Weston-super-Mare.

The exciting midfielder enjoyed four seasons at the Woodspring before signing pro-contract terms with Aldershot Town in 2014.

The 26-year-old however went on to have a spell with Dover Athletic before moving to Bath City.

The Romans however released Diallo last week and manager Mark McGregor has wasted no time in snapping him up.

Mark, who was assistant manager to Craig Laird when Diallo last played for the Seagulls, said: “Naby is a great ball-player who can run at defences and will certainly slot in well with the likes of, Mawf, Caney, Kington, Grubby and co.

“We are very fortunate to have a player of his calibre in the squad.

“He brings with him such a wealth experience at this level.”

Diallo goes straight into the Weston squad for tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) game away at Bognor Regis Town.
