UPHILL Castle Football Club will start pre-season training on July 8 at the club on Bridgwater Road, Weston.

All past and present players welcome and especially any new players who would like to join the new charter standard club.

Uphill will be running three adult sides this season for the first time. The first team will play in the Somerset County League, while the reserves and the newly-formed third team will play in the Weston and District League.

The third team will be primarily made up of youth players from last season’s Under-16s and we would particularly welcome any players of this age group who is looking to play Saturday football next season.

Subscriptions have once again been fixed at just £10 per month, making it an affordable option for those who wish to play regular local football.
