Two Weston Crusaders Under-12s sides met in the final of the Bradley Stoke tournament.

WESTON Crusaders Under-12s continued their fine cup form at the Bradley Stoke tournament against some good Bristol teams.

Fielding two sides, both teams won their groups and were undefeated going into the semi-finals. One team took on Charfield and got through 3-1, while the other side beat Stoke Lane 2-0, meaning an all Crusaders final.

Team A consisted of Harry, Ethan, Joel, Blondie, Charlie and Churchill and they narrowly lost 1-0 to the B team, featuring Lewis, Tom, James, Ben, Snedds and Aiden, with Aiden getting the decisive goal in a closely-fought game.

THE Wendron/Sharon Wood mini-soccer tournament takes place on July 20, with spaces available.

Entries are invited from age groups Under-7 to 13. Further details and entry forms can be obtained from Alan Watson on 01326 561430 or visit the clubs website - www.wendronfc.com
