Weston-super-Mare face Bristol Rovers in a preseason game tonight (Tuesday), but the Seagulls will not be lining up against the Gas’ best players.

Marc McGregor’s side were due to face the League One outfit’s best eleven, but a development squad will travel to the Woodspring Stadium instead, with the Pirates’ first team now travelling to Yeovil Town.

The club learned of this yesterday, and has opted to reduce ticket prices for the game which kicks off at 7.45pm – and McGregor will be hoping his charges improve from the thrilling 6-6 draw with Forest Green Rovers on Friday.

A club spokesman said: “This is the only preseason match we are doing this because we have been told the Bristol Rovers first team are playing Yeovil Town on the same day.”

Tickets, priced £1.50-6, are available on the turnstile.
