Worle won the league title after a tough run of six matches in 14 days.

Worle were finally crowned as league champions after a tough run of six games in 14 days came to an end at their home ground against Clevedon United.

The home side needed just one point to see them over the finish line and that is what they got in the 1-1 draw.

Worle went ahead in this tense game when Chris Taylor came off the bench and slotted the ball past the Clevedon keeper with his first touch of the game.

Clevedon drew level soon after when a cross caught Worle keeper Dancey out and the ball flew over his head.

Worle would like to thank everyone in involved on and especially off the pitch, especially their supporters for all their help and support.

Also, all the best to our reserve team who can still win their division and also a cup final this Saturday.

The last stop is the club’s end of season tour where 23 members make their way to Tallin in Estonia.
